David Kane PhD
Global Managing Partner
David Kane has over 20 years of experience in leading global strategic communications teams in support of biotech and biopharmaceutical companies. He has led the delivery of many award-winning strategic initiatives, including with: Abbvie, Boehringer Ingelheim, Bristol- Myers Squibb, Novo Nordisk, Roche and Takeda.
David originally trained as a medical scientist, having worked at Caltech and UCLA. He has a PhD from the Max Planck Institute, Frankfurt and a degree in Natural Sciences from Cambridge University.
Pat Ward
Strategy Partner
Pat has over 20 years of pharmaceutical and healthcare marketing experience developing global communications strategy, planning and creative for pipeline, on-market brands, consumer health and unbranded disease initiatives. More recently Pat has also focused on global internal change communications and engagement programmes and the positioning and communication of discovery research, innovation and partnering approaches.
Tanya Goodyear
Managing Partner
Tanya has over 20 years of experience in healthcare communications, partnering across a broad range of disciplines within pharmaceutical organisations. She has built and led large teams to partner with healthcare clients in creating strategic award-winning programmes aimed at improving care pathways and shaping health and social care solutions. More recently Tanya has worked with senior clients across change and transformation communications, early asset positioning and narratives and patient engagement for some of the world’s leading pharmaceutical and biotech companies.
Harry King
Managing Partner
Harry is an experienced life sciences communicator with a track record of designing and delivering successful programs for some of the world’s leading biopharmaceutical companies. He works with senior clients across the agency’s four pillars: strategic and scientific communications, transformation and change initiatives, and executive positioning and thought leadership. He has a keen interest in emerging science and technology, organizational innovation and design, and change adoption, and is an avid follower of industry trends across business development, cutting-edge science, and policy. His expertise spans early science and R&D, building scientific reputation, and specific therapeutic areas including oncology, global health, rare diseases, and a wide variety of chronic diseases.
Duncan Lewis
Chief Operating Officer
Duncan has extensive experience in finance and commercial operations in media and marketing communications businesses, spending the last past eight years working in the healthcare communications industry. Duncan is passionate about driving efficiencies throughout the business by the implementation of seamless processes. Duncan sits on the Healthcare Communications Association benchmarking sub-committee and has been a fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants for over 30 years.
Fiona Tavner PhD
Partner
Fiona brings over 25 years’ collective biopharmaceutical industry and biomedical postdoctoral research experience, combining robust scientific expertise with strategic and commercial insight. She provides senior strategic and scientific counsel, with deep experience in communication strategy, planning and execution. Fiona holds a PhD and First-Class Honours in genetics from the University of Adelaide, Australia, with 10 years of postdoctoral research experience.
Helen Swift

As a senior communications consultant in the healthcare sector for 20 years, Helen has a wealth of experience in developing communications strategies for pharma and biotech clients across R&D, corporate and brand. She has a passion for internal engagement and change communications having led award-winning global campaigns that engaged employees across multiple offices and geographies. Helen plays a key role in Arc Bio operations and is particularly focused on nurturing talent and building engaged, high performing client teams.
Heather Reading
Partner
Heather has over 20 years of experience working with big pharma and biotech to build and define strategic and change communications. Heather has significant experience partnering at C-suite level to define and differentiate corporate, franchise and transformation narratives. Heather specialises in the use of behaviour change models to help clients define their innovation positioning and drive value for their stakeholders. Heather is also experienced in developing external visibility programmes for senior leaders.
Katherine Vince

Katherine is a seasoned communications strategist with more than 25 years advising pharmaceutical, biotech and medical device companies. She has a wealth of experience creating insight driven, multichannel corporate, pipeline and franchise programs across therapeutic areas. With a background in journalism and law, she focuses on strategic reputation building within a complex media and policy environment. Her unique background ensures that clients are deftly guided through litigation, regulatory actions, product recalls, pricing challenges and organizational change.

Kelly brings over 20 years of experience in healthcare communications, partnering with R&D, medical affairs, commercial, patient, and corporate teams to deliver value to clinical and patient communities. She advises senior clients across our core agency pillars: strategic and scientific communications, transformation and change, executive positioning, and thought leadership. Kelly is particularly passionate about advancing patient engagement and ensuring the patient voice is central to healthcare innovation.

Rox has worked in healthcare communications for more than 15 years, spanning scientific, brand, corporate and change communications. As a linguist, her passion lies in tailoring messages that resonate with the right audience. Having worked across communications and medical disciplines, Rox is an advocate for integrated communications strategies and understands the importance of nurturing stakeholder trust, internally and externally, to drive advocacy and ultimately action. More recently Rox supported strategic data and pipeline communications for what has become one of the biggest pharma brands today.
